Competition winners

As part of the European Year of Languages 2001, Richmond Borough and b small publishing ran a poster competition for children in Richmond upon Thames primary schools. Posters had to encourage people to learn a foreign language. The winners were: Theo Isaacs, age five, Stanley Infants; Adam Maguire, ge nine, Trafalgar Juniors; Rosie Lakin, age 10, St Stephen's.

There was an extra prize for William Gatfield, aged nine, St Stephen's. Each child was awarded a pound;5 book token and pound;148 in b small language books for their school.
