TODAY'S ENGINEERS MAKE THE THINGS WE NEED Children aged five to seven are invited to paint a picture illustrating how they think engineers help to improve our lives. Cash prizes will be awarded to the best three entries, with the winner receiving pound;75, a flight for two adults and a child to a European destination of their choice and pound;1,000 for their school to purchase technology equipment. Second prize is a family return ticket to Euro Disney, Paris, a cheque for pound;50 and pound;750 for the school. Third prize is a tour of London's Science Museum, plus a cheque for pound;30 and pound;500 for the school. The final date for entries is March 26.
