Conference discounts

Exclusive discounts for the Design and Technology Millennium Conference (April 12-14 at the London Institute of Education) will be available if you pre-register at the Education Show. The discounts include a free place for one teacher if another registers. The three-day conference is described by its organisers - the Design and Technology Association, the National Association of Advisers and Inspectors in Design and Technology nd the Technology Enhancement Programme - as the "largest and most high profile event ever held for professionals and key policy makers in the realms of design and technology education". It will be opened by Jacqui Smith, the minister responsible for the national curriculum and teacher training, and the keynote lecture will be given by James Dyson, designer of Dyson vacuum cleaners.
