Thirty years of unlocking speech and language are being celeb-rated by AFASIC this year. It programme includes parents' conferences in York on November 13 and in Bristol on April 15. Workshops include: social communication skills, what next after school?; parent partnerships; dyspraxia and beyond. Speech and language charity I CAN is running a dyspraxia seminar in February 2000 and a conference entitled "Focusing on secondary aged children with speech and language impairment" in March.
