Cool idea to cut energy bills

Hertford Regional College has saved 40 per cent on its energy bills and reduced emissions by a fifth by moving its 160 computer servers to the Thor Data Center in Iceland. After suffering badly in the financial crisis of 2007, Iceland decided its future prosperity lay in using its cheap, clean energy to power the world's servers.
