* Further to her Agenda item in the March 9 edition of The TES, Joan Sallis would like us to make it clear that she wasn't promoting the election of union activists as teacher overnors. She said that they have a right to stand and would often be the natural choice of those concerned. The confusion was due to a production error on our part.
