Pens which can tolerate the caps being left off for up to 14 days without drying up are highlighted by Staedtler. They include the 309 Handwriting Pen, which is "designed to give children morecontrol and encourage better handwriting skills". Also on display will be modelling clays, moulds and casting powder, and demonstrations of techniques.
