The Centre for Information on Language Teaching and Research, has planned a day conference entitled "Into the new A-levels" on July 2 at Imperial College, London SW7. Topics include: increasing the cultural dimension, using authentic materials, and developing methodologies. CILT's annual residential course will be on "Exploiting the Internet: a rich resource for language learning", September 13-15, at Keele University, Staffordshire. Fee: Pounds 250.
