Cut-price courses

Adults in North Yorkshire are being offered cut-price part-time courses by the region's five colleges with the support of the local training and enterprise council in this European Year of Lifelong Learning. The colleges say that, at 25p an hour, the cost is about the price of a hamburger or a couple of pints.
