Damage warning over careers revamp

The "foolhardy destruction" of the country's careers service risks damaging young people's lives and the economy, a panel of Government advisers has warned.

They are concerned that the national service for young people will be confined to telephone and online advice, with face-to-face services transferred to schools but without funding.
