Dance - Know your waves and ripples

28th August 2009 at 01:00

Want to see the difference between a body wave and a body ripple in jazz dance? Or battements tendus and grands battements in classical dance? The latest addition to the Learning and Teaching Scotland website can help.

LTS has published a new range of online resources, including videos, to support the delivery of Higher Dance. The clips have been designed to support learners to improve their knowledge, skill and understanding of accurate techniques for classical, contemporary and jazz dance. The videos focus on basic alignment for each technique.
