IT has taken the tragic death of Pamela Relf to draw public attention to the widespread misery and demoralisation caused by the current pernicious inspection system.

Hopefully it won't take the tragic death of seven or 11- year-old to draw attention to the widespread misery and stress caused by the current pernicious assessment regime.
