Deputy head wins pound;56,000

The deputy head of a Catholic primary in Plymouth, who claimed she was bullied by her headteacher, has won at least pound;56,000 compensation for constructive dismissal.

Sue Preston, 55, told an employment tribunal that Catherine Maltbaek, headteacher of the Cathedral School of St Mary, made her life a misery by constant nit-picking and rudeness to her.
