Want to know about Government money for ICT in your school? The Department for Education and Employment (DFEE) has just published details of the fourth year of its Standards funding to equip schools for the National Grid for Learning. LEAs are expected to committ themselves to a "a baseline of access" to ICT by Auust 2002, which includes a computer-to-pupil ratio of 1:11 in primary and 1:7 in secondary. Authorities are not allowed to keep more than 4.5 per cent of funding for management and evaluation. The DFEE circular is available as a downloadable Word document.
