Developers asked for school cash

CITY councillors in Leicester want pound;222,500 from developers to tackle overcrowding in a primary school. They fear a pound;30 million housing complex planned on the site of Leicester City Football Club's old ground could swamp the nearby Hazel Street primary with new pupils. No comment was available from Downing Developments.
