Diary - Meet Mr Munch

11th December 2009 at 00:00

So you think your pupils are addicted to crisps? Introducing Mr Monster Munch. That's the man formerly known as Chris Hunt, 26, who has changed his name by deed poll to reflect his favourite corn snack.

"Monster", or "Mr Munch" as he likes to be known, eats the crisps for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The plumber starts the day with a packet of pickled onion, has a roast beef crisp sandwich for lunch and a flamin' hot flavour bag for dinner.

Mr Munch, of Evington, Leicestershire, admits that his fascination with the snack is "a bit extreme", but insists he does enough exercise to compensate. It's just that when it comes to crisps, he's a bit of an animal.
