Diary - Naan better

When Sally Hares was made redundant from her school she decided to follow her lifetime dream, launching her own range of DIY curry kits.

Mrs Hares had been marketing manager at a secondary school in Walsall, but last summer lost her job in spending cuts.

The #163;3.50 "cook from scratch" kits contain spices, curry leaves, chillies and ginger and the range includes rogan josh, masala and madras curries. All the cooks have to do is supply the onions, tomatoes and whichever vegetables or meat they choose.

The Hares Moor packs will be on sale at Nisa supermarkets and via the internet.
