Dinosaur spotting

2nd February 1996 at 00:00
The piercing screams of a Pteranodon dinosaur will echo round Newcastle' s Hancock Museum from February 17 to October 31. Fifteen life-size moving dinosaurs will be on show in 'Pterosuars - Rulers of Jurassic Skies', an exhibition about the Triassic period more than 65 million years ago. The Pteranodon, which has a wingspan of 10 metres and hungry-looking jaws, will hover threateningly over visitors' heads. Tel: 0191 222 7418.
