Disease will not affect results

Pupils unable to leave farms because of foot-and-mouth disease will not be counted in their schools' test results this year. Performance tables for primary and secondary schools and colleges will also gve a clear indication of which schools were in areas directly affected by the outbreak. Almost 1,600 children have been affected. The Government's guidance is at www.dfee.gov.ukfootandmouth.
