The Cambridge and County Folk Museum is offering schools the chance to take part in a two-hour Victorian housework activity on October 3 and 17, November 7 and 21, December 5, January 16 and 30, February 13, March 6 and 20, April 17, and May 1 and 15, Pounds 1.20 per child. It includes an illustrated introduction by museum staff, a washing session using a dolly peg, wash tub, washboard and mangle and worksheets. Bookings: 01223 355159.
