Doncaster faces strike

The University and College Union is threatening strike action over plans at Doncaster College to cut nearly 120 jobs as part of its financial recovery. It could be the third time this year the troubled college, which had a deficit of pound;2.8 million in July, has seen staff walk out. It was targeted in February and March over the failure to implement a four-year- old pay deal.
