The Alternatives in Education Fair will be held on this date at the Industrial Museum, Bristol, from 10.30am to 5pm. Find out about alternatives in the state system, home learning, reorganising large schools, education for environmental sustainability and how the Italian village of Reggio Emilia approaches early years education. Speakers include Toby Salt, director of the DfES Innovation Unit, on innovation in education. Fee: pound;3 (voluntary contribution). Fee per seminar: pound;5. Booking recommended.
