Electrifying moment

(Photograph) - Carol Harris (left) of Fishergate Primary School, York, relives the passion of inventor Benjamin Franklin, who loved to fly kites during electrical storms, while Michael Faraday, electrical genius, is enacted by a classmate. The two were taking part in the Schools Drama Festival at the University of York this month, organised by York Council's arts service. Around 500 pupils from 18 schools took part, performing plays on a wide range of themes.
