English for Chinese

24th February 2006 at 00:00
This year the BBC celebrated Chinese New Year with a website for English language learners in China. The site, produced by the BBC Chinese service and BBC Learning English, provides bilingual content for Chinese users. It is designed for learners aged 15 to 35 and includes quizzes, word games and information about the social and cultural background of the UK aimed at those planning to study or work outside China. There are exercises, games and quizzes and much of the content can be downloaded onto MP3 players.
