English - Training for debating

5th December 2008 at 00:00

Debating in schools is the subject of a new continuing professional development brochure by the English-Speaking Union Scotland with help from Learning and Teaching Scotland. It gives details of "training the trainer days" and in-school workshops.

Training the trainer days are for local authority teachers and other staff, with the aim that they pass their knowledge on to colleagues. They will take place at the ESU Scotland headquarters in Edinburgh in the spring.
