Enhancing equality

In its first major initiative since coming into existence, the Scottish Funding Council has set up an equalities unit for colleges and universities. It will be run by an advisory board chaired by Rowena Arshad, director of the Centre for Education for Racial Equality in Scotland, who is also a member of the funding council.
