BUILDING WITH SNAKES: THE PHYSICS OF LONG CHAIN MOLECULES

Shopping bags, spider silk, car bumpers, custard, washing-up bowls and climbing ropes are all made of polymers, the subject of this year's Institute of Physics touring lecture for students aged 14 and above. NUTRITION AND SCHOOL CHILDREN

Seminars organised by the National Dairy Council and National Association for Teachers of Home Economics and Technology in Cedar Court Hotel, Wakefield, Society of Chemical Industry, London, and Swallow Hotel, Peterborough respectively.
