UNTIL OCTOBER 3 BUGS: THE MONSTER CREEPY CRAWLY SHOW Bugs have been turned into terrifying robotic monsters up to 300 times their normal size in this exhibition at the Royal Armouries, Leeds. There are 12 model bugs, including a praying mantis, purse-web spider and two fighting scorpions,interactive screens, feely boxes, a sandpit, things to smell and bug music to make. MAY 23 ESSENCE OF LIFE FASHION SHOW Comedian Curtis Walker and designer Ozwald Boateng are supporting this show at the Hanover Grand, London W1, 7-12pm, being held in aid of those affected by sickle cell anaemia and thalassaemia. MAY 27-AUGUST 30 JUST IN TIME The Mikron Theatre Company is touring Britain's inland waterways, 30 pubs, six museums and the Bristol Old Vic, supported by British Waterways. Their portrayal of Alison's journey through a transport "wonderland" contrasts the congestion and pollution of roads with the beauty and convenience of the waterways. MAY 29-JUNE 3 LAUGHTER WORKSHOPS Crazy film clips, wacky animation, silly special effects and the chance to try out slapstick gags are among the free (after admission) drop-in activities at the Museum of the Moving Image, South Bank, London SE1.
