Everything to play for

Girls have a chance to go football crazy when the Women's Euro competition begins in June and a key stage 2 resource pack makes its timely appearance. There are posters and worksheets covering many features of the curriculum via a football theme. Children can compare weather conditions in European cities, or use different stadium capacities to handle ratios, fractions and percentages. There are also activities to do with nutrition, fitness, women's history and analysing the game itself. The Women's Euro 2005 pack is available from their local Schools Sports Partnership or can be downloaded from: www.thefa.com
