3D: Design for Theatre and Performance, an exhibition at The Lowry, Salford Quays, Manchester until March 7, reveals the design secrets of many magical shows. It includes stage models, costume designs, storyboards, computer visualisations, costumes, puppets, masks, props and photos of the final productions. An accompanying programme of primary and secondary school workshops has been co-organised with the Society of British Theatre Designers.
