Feast of football

8th October 2004 at 01:00
Classes 5 and 6 at StKentigern's Academy, Blackburn, West Lothian, are the deserving winners of this week's great fair-trade treat. Teacher Alana Maxwell explains that the school is doing a lot to drive home the fair-trade message. Pupils are organising a fair-trade bonanza, giving out tea, coffee, juice and biscuits to pupils and parents, and selling fair-trade goods to raise money for the school while raising awareness of the movement. Keep up the good work and have a box of Dubble chocolate bars and a match-quality Team football from us. Does your class play fair? If so, email friday@tes.co. uk to tell us why. Mark your message Dubble football offer. For information on fair trade: www.dubble.co.uk; www.fairdealtrading.co.uk.
