Connected Earth, BT's online museum of the internet now has its own education centre for primary and secondary schools on the web. It has teachers' notes and nearly 50 student worksheets, and topics covered include literacy, science, maths, history, ICT and expressive arts in Scotland. Primary projects include: what is communications?; how communications have changed our lives; communicating with numbers; changing technologies and media. Secondary projects include: industrialisation and communication; sound and vibration; materials and systems used in telecommunications; designing global communications. The website is linked to UK-wide exhibitions and research endowments.
