Fingers do the talking

Teachers are being invited to organise a "fingerspellathon" next term to raise funds for deaf children in the UK. The National Deaf Children's Society hopes to raise more than amp;#163;40,000 from the events where pupils will be sponsored per letter or word they learn in British Sign Language.
