Food, glorious food

Roast dinner followed by sponge and custard has been named as the nation's favourite school dinner. A survey of more than 3,000 people has revealed that after a roast, the most popular options were sausage and mash and lasagne with garlic bread. The poll was commissioned by the Local Authority Caterers Association to mark National School Meals Week.
