The Scottish Schools' Football Association (SSFA) has signed a new kit deal with Fila, the Italian sports brand, which will see the four schools' national teams wearing kit identical to that of Craig Brown's senior team.

"All of our national teams - at Under-14, Under-15 and Under-18 level for boys and Under-14 level for girls - will be wearing the new kit," confirmed John Watson, secretary of the SSFA. "The first time t will be worn will be by our Under-15 boys' team against Wales on October 13 at Stirling, in a game that Sky is televising."

The SSFA's previous kit deal with Adidas lasted 10 years and the new agreement will run until 2004. The new Scottish schoolgirls' team, which beat Northern Ireland in its inaugural game last season, could have two games this season with the SSFA keen to ink in another fixture for them.
