* The forthcoming Windows XP Service Pack 2 will bring a number of new and welcome features to the operating system. It will include extra protection against viruses and Trojan horses, including a system for scanning files inside Zip files. It will also help to reduce the number of pop-up adverts as well as switch on XP's Firewall by default - at present you have to remember to switch it on.
