Frank Cottrell Boyce, whose novel Millions supports Water Aid, will approve of the latter (by the way, don't miss our Millions DVD offer this week on page 3). The book, which won the Carnegie Medal, is Liverpool's Citywide Read for 2005 (see Meanwhile, the author is running a workshop on his own favourite Frank, Frank O'Connor, at an "Art Life" day on November 26 sponsored by The Reader, a literary magazine based at the University of Liverpool's English department.
