Free film archives

28th November 2003 at 00:00
The British Film Institute is to allow schools free access to its film and television archive collection. This week, the BFI launched Screenonline, a website featuring more than 100 hours of vintage footage, including newsreels, sitcom, animation and films. Information pages, intended to place the archive material in context, will provide biographies, stills and explanatory articles.
