Free solar panels

Schools are being offered the chance of free solar panels from the Co-operative Group.

The group has already spent pound;1 million fitting 100 schools with panels, and is now looking for a further 60. It will also pilot wind turbines, biomass boilers and ground source heat pumps. Applications must be submitted by November 5.
