Babs Carter and Anne Stanley, who run the reception desk at Farnborough sixth form college, Hampshire A great double act who are unfailingly cheerful and welcoming to everyone who troops through the foyer of this busy college. Babs and Anne were nominated by visiting chaplain, Angela Gaynor, who has counselled staff and students for several years and had a daughter at the college. "I just think they give a reat reception to anyone coming in," says Angela. "They are always happy to help and go out of their way to be kind. We all think a lot of them."
