Future Leaders boost

Future Leaders, which trains top teachers to head the toughest secondaries, has recruited its biggest cohort yet as it expands to include Yorkshire and Humberside, Bristol and the south coast, alongside existing schemes in London, the North West and the West Midlands. The 68 participants begin their training this summer. The scheme was struggling to recruit earlier this year, with applicants put off by talk of public sector spending cuts.
