German links

18th May 2007 at 01:00
On behalf of a colleague who teaches at a school in Germany, I am trying - so far without success - to find a school in England which has a Year 7, 8 or 9 German class.

We would like to establish a link so that communications could be exchanged with a class that started learning English last September. The class is enthusiastic about having a twin class in England and contacting English students for an exchange of ideas by letter and email to improve their written and spoken English.

It appears that there are few schools in England that offer German as a modern foreign language as an alternative to French. Any help in locating a school that might be interested in this proposed link would be very much appreciated. If you can help, please contact me by email:
