Get your short story published with top women writers

Get your short story published alongside Lynne Truss, Helen Dunmore, Marina Warner and other top women writers. An anthology featuring the winners of the next Asham Award for new women writers (closing date January 31, 2005) will be published in 2006. As usual, shortlisted stories will be published alongside new work by established authors, and the 10 shortlisted writers will be invited to a summer school next July.

As well as the usual prize money (first prize is pound;1,000), the Asham Trust is celebrating the award's 10th anniversary with a bursary of pound;1,000 for a promising or original writer. Tel: 01273 483159 or email: More details at
