In good hands

It's time to relax for babies and toddlers at Bishopbriggs Childcare Centre in Glasgow, which has launched a health and well-being programme, including baby sign, massage and yoga. Under the programme Harmony Hands, baby sign will start from five months. "Through this, babies can let you know what they want, how they feel and what they think," say the staff. "This gives them a means to be understood, reduces frustration and boosts self-confidence." Massage will be aimed at children from birth to three. Yoga will take place over an eight-week block to "promote strength, flexibility, balance; aid muscle development and improve sleeping patterns".
