Gordonstoun scandal

A former French teacher at the school attended by Prince Charles has been struck off by the General Teaching Council for Scotland after he admitted giving pupils a tip-off about a French oral GCSE.

Eric Tessier-Lavigne, a former dancer and acupuncturist who was in his first year as a qualified teacher at Gordonstoun School, contacted 11 pupils to tell them about a topic that would be included in the exam.
