Government delivers a billion

SCHOOL bank accounts were today set to receive the government funding boost Chancellor Gordon Brown promised in the Budget. Mr Brown said that secondaries wuld be given pound;30,000-pound;50,000 and primaries pound;3,000-pound;9,000 for heads to use as they please. The money is part of a pound;1 billion boost for education.
