Grants for any UK location

Welsh sixth-formers planning to go to university in September 2006 will be eligible for a means-tested maintenance grant of up to pound;2,700, regardless of where they study in the UK. Proposals on how the grants and other financial support would be implemented are out for consultation until September 23. See www.learningwales.gov.uk
