Guide for SEN specialists

Lord Adonis, the schools minister, has launched guidelines for special schools who wish to apply for specialist status in SEN.

The guidelines set out the aims and criteria for special schools, as well as details of how they can apply. This follows the Government's announcement that 50 new SEN specialist schools would be designated within the next two years.
