Harvest time

7th September 2001 at 01:00
Harvest time is the traditional occasion for primary school children to think about how their lives are involved with other people's work and the fruits of the Earth. Links In The Chain is a compact resource pack from Christian Aid providing information about Margin, a girl who is part of a co-operative community in north-west Nicaragua that produces sesame seeds. It explains the processes of production and marketing and what it's like to depend on the work of a large group. There are frameworks for collective acts of worship suitable for key stages 1 and 2.

Links In The Chain is free on request from Christian Aid. Tel: 020 7523 2248 or 020 7523 2270 or email: orders@christian-aid.org
