"Maths for the future and maths for fun" is the theme of the Mathematical Association's 1997 annual meeting to be held at Strathclyde University, Glasgow, April 2-5. Topics range from: "Primary and secondary working together" and "The left hand of darkness (The National Lottery)" to "Challenging mathematics . . . wear the kilt?".
